An innovative building physicist, set on making a positive impact on comfort, wellbeing, and sustainability in the built environment. He has a particular interest in Passivhaus and in BIM workflows.

Tom completed his PhD in 2015 at the University of Bath. His research focused on simulations of occupant behaviour in low-energy and Passivhaus dwellings. From 2013-2017 Tom worked for BuroHappold Engineering, a leading multidisciplinary consultancy, on a wide range of international projects from football stadiums to primary school classrooms.

In 2017, Tom moved to the Netherlands, starting Simstream.
